What You’ll Be Building With Us

Roomey is a global peer-to-peer platform for shared accommodation. Real users worldwide search, list, chat, and connect to find their next home. You’ll build features that serve actual people across multiple countries.

Register & Create Profile: Users sign up, choose seeker or lister role, build their profile to start their journey
Search & List: Seekers search and filter available rooms; listers create and manage their accommodation listings
Chat & Connect: Real-time messaging between seekers and listers to discuss details, ask questions, arrange viewings
Subscribe & Boost: Users upgrade to premium subscriptions or boost their listings for greater visibility and features

What We’re Looking For

You must have commercial experience deploying live applications. We’re a small startup needing developers ready to contribute immediately.

3+ Years Full-Stack Development

Proven full stack experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and databases. Strong delivery record, launched production features, and real commercial project expertise.

Write Clean, Scalable Code

Deliver clean, professional code that’s scalable, efficient, and maintainable, ensuring projects remain stable, high-quality, and production-ready.

Available 9-5 PH Time, Mon-Fri

Philippines-based with reliable internet and quiet workspace. Fully committed Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Philippine time. This is your primary focus.

We’re a bootstrap startup with no investors or funding—just a founder’s vision to build something global. We start at $5 USD per hour, but we’re investing in founding team members who want long-term growth. As Roomey scales and generates revenue, your income grows with performance reviews, bonuses, and leadership opportunities.

We’re looking for experienced developers ready to contribute immediately. Our process is transparent and fair—everyone completes the same questionnaire and skills assessment. If you have the skills and commitment we need, we’d love to work with you.

1. Application Questionnaire

Complete the questionnaire below. We review every application and evaluate your experience, motivation, technical background, and long-term fit to identify candidates ready for our standards and project urgency.

2. Skills Assessment (If Shortlisted)

Test Gorilla professional assessment with 5 technical tests (70 minutes total). You must score 80%+ on each test to pass. Webcam required with anti-cheat monitoring—no AI tools, no Google, no copy/paste, eyes must stay on screen. This ensures fair evaluation for everyone and confirms you have the real skills we need.
